The new SPHERE Thunder 3K bolt can definitely be called a small piece of high-tech, because the 3K carbon used for the production not only provides a great look of the bolt, but is also a particularly robust, sophisticated material.

The unique properties make carbon the ideal material for the production of arrows and bolts, because the carbon fibers are characterized by extreme strength and stiffness - just THE properties that you expect from an arrow or bolt. The alignment of the individual fibers is therefore particularly important in order to be able to withstand the forces acting on an arrow / bolt and to save weight. In the case of shafts, the optimal direction is of course the longitudinal direction, in order to withstand especially the tensile and compressive (upsetting) forces that occur. The 3k carbon used in the SPHERE Thunder has three times as many fibers as normal and is accordingly more robust and with the visible structure also visually more striking.

The SPHERE Thunder comes with a guaranteed straightness of 0.005 inch, a shaft weight of 9.5gr per inch and a fletching with 2 inch BOHNING Blazer Vanes. The tip used is a 125gr X-BOW FMA Bodkin tip, which penetrates deep into the target due to its special tip shape known from hunting tips, with hard edges and flat surfaces.
