The Walther CP99 as an air pistol in caliber 4.5 mm.
The Walther CP99 CO2 pistol represents the free version of the original Walther P99. Whether countless police units, sports shooters or collectors the P99 convinces in its different variants. The sharp prototype was really reproduced in the CP99 to the last detail and is thus like the original very solid and reliable. The only deviating feature of the Walther CO2 pistol is the safety on the right side of the weapon, this was installed as a slide safety.
The black blued metal slide and the ergonomically well-shaped plastic grip in the same color with its profiled surface not only looks good, but also lies non-slip in the hand. The magazine drum is inserted in the breech and holds 8 rounds in 4.5 mm diabolo caliber. A 12 g CO2 capsule is used in the magazine well, giving the weapon a muzzle energy of 3.5 joules.
Through the use of diabolos, the precision on the target is much higher than with BB variants and thus has a better penetrating power. Furthermore, the pistol can be fired with both un-cocked and cocked hammer (single/double action trigger). In both cases, the barrel is advanced to the next position. The rear sight is laterally adjustable. A special high light is the Picatinny rail mounted in front of the trigger guard, which allows the attachment of aiming aids and tactical accessories.
