The Field Short was specially designed for service in hot climatic conditions and thus manages the balancing act between comfort and functionality. It also features the proven waist width adjustment - this can be perfectly adjusted to the body with an elastic drawstring to ensure better comfort and absorb movements. The integrated thigh pockets provide ample storage space for utensils and also have a compartment for smartphones - even with gloves on, quick access is possible. A small pocket on the outside of the thigh is designed for stowing a knife or pistol magazine.
The Field Short comes with further useful features: The waistband is optimized for the use of Rigger & Safety Belts as well as suspenders and offers a high wearing comfort due to its light padding. In a hidden inside pocket on the back of the pants documents (such as a passport) can be stored. The trousers nevertheless offer the necessary robustness and reduced NIR signature (not valid for MultiCam Polycotton) to withstand adverse conditions. Thus, only zippers from 'YKK' and high quality sewing thread are used in production. The main seams are sewn in three-needle stitch and therefore triple secured, many heavily loaded areas are double secured with bar tack seams.
