A name with history!
Daniel B. Wesson I was the founder of Smith & Wesson together with Horace Smith in 1859. Daniel B. Wesson II (the great-grandson of the S&W founder) founded Dan Wesson Firearms in 1963. In this manufactory Karl Lewis developed the famous revolver, which was produced there from 1975 to 1989. The revolver was and still is used by sport shooters and in hunting.
The detailed replica from ASG with an energy of about 1.9 joules is powered by CO2. The revolver made of full metal has a double action trigger, an adjustable rear sight and robust plastic grip panels. Included are a mounting rail, speedloader and 6 cases.
Softair weapons with an energy over 0.5 joules are subject to the Weapons Act and must have an 'F' marking in the pentagon. The acquisition, possession and transport of the weapons is allowed to adults without a firearms license. However, they are subject to the ban on carrying (§42 a WaffG).
